Ok,, just remembered something else from the manual... Did you know that a new chain will stretch more than an old one in the same number of miles ? You might want to check your IP timing again just to be sure of it... before you continue....since you have a new chain ( but I assume on an old sprocket ...which makes it wear even more )...
