Sir-I am glad I bought my 1999 ML320.
Did it have design flaws ? Some weaknesses yes.

I dont get stuck in snow
Thick metal. Time will tell, when it is 12 years old if it does not rust thru like my 10 year old Acura's.. Then I will give it 2 thumbs up.

In addition MSN's Auto page rates the 1999 ML320 as "minimal problems" in ALL catagories.
