sorry i could'nt find my original post, but my 92 300SL was skipping 4th gear. it shifted from 3rd to 5th skipping 4th. i took it to the dealer in boise id. and they could'nt figure it out after charging me $500.00 and said i probably needed a new tranny. B S
so i contacted you folks and you promptly gave me your ideas and you were right. i called the dealer in boise told them what you said and they gave me more B S
i finally took the car to pocatello id. and gave them the info you gave me (the red fische #27a93062 and the part #) and they reserched it and came to the same conclusion and thus fixed the car.thanks again
