Yes, the colors that I've mentioned are on the mirror side. There is only one connector from the mirror, and it's the one with 5 pins, but 7 wires (2 sets of 2 wires go into the same pin).

Do you think the Homelink will use the same power as the mirror (i.e. there is only 1 power wire, and 1 ground wire for the Homelink)?

Do you think you can tell me the pin layout of the mirror connector on the body side (headliner) on a 99 E430? If I have this information, I should be able to figure out which wire is for which function.
