You understood me correctly.
Right at this moment I am updating my 300CE conv. into a W124 E-class. I got myself a brandnew hood (from the MB dealer with a little scratch caused by transportation) to exchange it for the currently installed SEC-hood
. I will only need to exchange the lenses from the headlight units; nothing more, nothing less.
The fog lights of the 500E are mounted in the bumper, that is right. The reflector is different because it is not being used as a fog light. What did the 500E get instead of that fog light beside the grill? Are there additional high beam lights? should be, I guess...or are driving lights to be considered as the dimmed lights?
