I had this problem in my 2001 Jaguar S Type... It was the alignment.. It just so happened that the alignment is so touchy on that car that it was hard to get right.. And with the Pirelli tires being soft as they are the tires wore out on the outer edges which amplified the vibration/shimmy.. I feel for you.. EXTREMELY ANNOYING!
