Most cars in HK dont do that many miles, but they do suffer from start/stop type driving. In line with this, brakes/rotors, suspension and transmission are common problems. The paint also suffers due to the pollution here, so many have re-sprays or touch ups.
We also suffer here because almost no-one beleives in keeping books up to date. The reason for this is that being a duty free port, there are several 'grey' importers selling new cars, but without full factory back up. Hence you never know what has been done to the car and by whom.
Good point re the convertible hydraulics. I did have a look at teh actuators and could not see any leaks. In fact the soft top was in as new condition, so I assume it was rarely used.
