Very common on 104 eng. The original line is plastic and they are prone to drying out and cracking. This line is Common vac feed for both egr and air pump SOVs and the best fix is to replace with a good rubber line.
Although both egr tube blockage and egr valve upgrade part are also common egr code faults on these , the most overlooked and easiest check is this line ... from there one can do a simple hand vac test at the vac line at the egr to test for egr opening/flow. Hand vac will cause rough idle when applied. If not , egr is not opening or tube is blocked...
