in order to know for sure how your car is running you need current tail pipe readings.this is the best way to know what is going on. it is hard to smell the problem.easy to be fooled. with your bad gas milage you have a problem. tail pipe can say more than most other test. make sure you get all 4 numbers. hc, co,co2,02, and if they have it ,nox
