Yeesh.. $10 for shipping and handling from 150 miles away? Not worth it for a $45 purchase!

Can anyone suggest a locally available material I could use? Like UV-resistant packing tape or something? I really just want to protect these $50/lens fog lights. The normal headlights are only about $20/piece.

From an insurance standpoint, $60 or so to protect a $140 investment is a little high.

Surely someone knows of some handy material used in some other field that would have good crossover potential...
