let me try this again. rear window worked a few months ago. then nothing.
the motor works, when i pulled it out a little the window in the track feels free. the window moves up and down a little now.
the cable seems to be binding inside the regulator,motor area.
the place where the cable winds up.all else seems free.
is it possible to free up the cable. don't really want to open up the regulator box? last time i tried this on a honda that had a bad window regulator(new one already in the car) there was no way to put that cable back together. kind of winds up like an 8-track tape.(yes,old and in the way)
the one on this 201 seems to have died from not being used.
i know this question is hard to read because i am not sure of the part names. some one who has been there should know
on the front windows i could buy the regulator seperate from the motor. no such luck in back.
scared to work it with the switch because it may not want to go back up again.
when you're out of work(money) this type of repair almost worth the hassel
