I used to do it manually until I found out it could be done by the computer. I like the automatic off aspect of DRL's versus manual. During the day, I have forgotten to turn off the headlights when exiting. I still turn them on at night so that I can use the brights, thus my modification listed above.

Basically this is the way my Saabs used to be setup and I loved that....

Oh yeah, I think more people ought to use DRL's also but then I think drunk driving ought to have mandatory prision time....
