I carfully peeled open the end of a box of Cracker-Jacks, then carefully peeled open the prize package. Put the ring in the package and sealed everything back up. Box looked good as new.
Then went and picked her up to go out(don't remember now where we were going
). After driving a ways, I told her I had a bag in the back seat with a box of Cracker Jacks in it, and asked her to grab it so we could snack on it while driving. She did so, and after munching on the contents for a bit, I said "Let's see what the prize is." She fished thru the box, found the prize package, and opened it. At first she thought it was one of those cheap plastic novelty rings, until she looked at it better(it was getting into the evening by then. Not good light in the car) Then she realized what it was, got a big happy face, I pulled over and popped the question
BTW, she said yes
