AC Kits in AZ is a TOP quality shop, that does soooo much of this type of work, it's routine to them. They do it quite often, so they're efficient, and that keeps their cost low. Let's not start encouraging them to raise their prices!
They were of great help when I installed my parallel flow condensor with some advice on not only custom hoses but brazing up custom fittings (Try finding a 10 to 8 beadlock, 90> with an integral R-12 port). Either way you go, it sounds good.
