The cd's are a better deal, but after seeing the w123 version compared to my paperbacks, I'd not trade the books for anything, even a laptop in the garage, which I've done. The photos in the book are dark and fuzzy enough without haveing been scanned into a .pdf. There both nice to have, but I'd pay those prices for hardcopys. Just my opinion..
