All of my vehicles are using a 50:50 or 25:75 blend of biodiesel / vegetable oil.
I am given adequate waste veg-oil for my family's fuel needs.
I filter to 5 micron (hot oil) and again (cold oil) to remove any high melting point tallows from the oil. This allows me to operate at lower temperatures without significant heating of the blend.

I plan to have a heated aux tank built for veg-oil and use Heated fuel lines to/from the engine, where a solenoid valve will select fuel source and return tank. I will then be able to use the high melting point tallows I have been filtering from the veg-oil.
