I pulled the radiatior on my 1980 300SD to have it recored. It was a little more of a challenge than I expected. For some reason I did not expect to drain the oil and transmission. And I can see there are many other things to be done. Like fix lots of rust. It also seems like it might be a prime opportunity to do other things.
I know to straighten all of the fins on the coolers.
What else should be done at this time?
Should anything be done with the engine oil cooler?
