#1. Remove the wiper arms.
#2. Remove the Black plastic bezel.
#3. Turn on wipers, keep fingers out, danger of cut, pinch or amputation.
#4. Turn off the wipers.
#5. Reach in and check for broken linkage.
#6. Remove the wiper motor.
This is as far as I can go, hope it helps.
R&R of the motor takes me 35 minutes with paper work.
