Has the alda been messed with on the car? You can usually tell by looking to see if the little plastic cap is still on it.
Could be that someone has adjusted uit trying to correct a different problem and now that your turbo is working correctoly the car is getting too much fuel hence the smoke.

Just an idea anyway.
