First do you need a "box" (also known as a dry trailer) or a flat bed. The prices are different!!!
If all you need is a box, can you load and unload the box yourself? I'd suggest you get some pallets and assemble the parts on the pallets and secure them. Or you can get some "gaylords" (telescopic containers) to put the parts into. A 48 footer holds 20 standard skids.

You ought to be paying around $1.15 per mile plus the current fuel surcharge for a dry trailer.

Can you afford the time to place the container on a rail. That would be less money.

No Forward Air will not be cheap on a Truck load.
