White smoke as in steam or unburned diesel? If it's actually unburned diesel there has to be a serious problem with the injection pump or injectors, just generic overfueling will give black smoke 9 times out of 10.

SURE it's not steam? Cooland and oil level steady? Bluish white is oil and hard to tell the difference sometimes from the driver seat...
