I removed my stand-up star emblem for the sake of preventing its theft. I luckily found an adhesive circular brushed aluminum button that covered the hole in the top of the grille perfectly. I park my car in a questionable area during the day and I was worried that it would be stolen or worse, mangled in an attempted theft. I'd love to have the emblem visible to me while I drive. It completes the whole M-B driving experience. Are there any alternatives to its permanent removal in order to prevent its theft or am I just being too paranoid?
