yup...
i just installed the heat shield over the larger opening. everything seems to work fine i guess. I'm noticing a lot more quieter ride at about 50-75mph...engines doesnt sound as loud as it used to be...it was really smoking right when i tried to fire up the 300D. it took me about a good 15 seconds to constantly crank up the engine to speed so that it can go on its own...gosh i hope i didnt retard the life of my starter.....but the smoke went away as i drove it for about a good 50 miles that nigh.

anyhow, not really much performance gain but little less smoke now on the freeways while pushing it hard to the floor, easier cold, cold startings, and less engine noise round 50-75mph. I guess i can say it was worth the 300.00 dollar investment.
I'm hoping for more mileage for sure however..

next job is to learn how to do valve adjustments...i need those wrenches
