Hello. The engine numbers are just behind the injection pump on the left side of the motor (divers side).
Also, The other way of determining whether the cam is the hardened, improved performance type is to look at the tower bearings as well as the rockers. The bearing towers of the type I want are angled slightely below the cam down to the head bolt on the passenger side, and the rockers, if you look close, have a seperate nickel plate welded onto the upper rocker face.
I also now need a oil pump, as it seems that's what went bad and caused these other problems.
