I believe all was ok until I was parking the car, then I noticed it was almostat 120.
I took it for a spin again yesterday, and it started to overheat again.The fan was running slowly until after 100, then it sped up considerably.I felt the top rad hose, it was hot, but the lower hose was still cold....leading me to believe that the T-stat is opening to let coolant out of the hot engine , but maybe not fully...in any case the coolant is not exiting the rad very much if any.I'll try doing a flush and swaping in a new T-stat.
