Muy mortgage went up by well over $100 due to an escrow analysis, and I paid it all short $100 because my law student budget at the end of the semester is totaly tight.

So, I find out today that it was not applied to my account at all, apparently a common practice for partial payments and actually understandable, so now I have a late payment on my mortgage.

MY credit is important to me (duh), and I was unable to secure a bar prep loan without a co-signor and wondered why-this was why.

How can you get these things off your credit? I've heard you can take classes and stuff, is this true?
