JVC DILA projector (no rainbows or "grids") with a Home Theater PC (Radeon VGA, and M-Audio 24/96 audio board with TheaterTEK software) running pure RGB back to the projector.

The only thing that beats the JVC DILA, IMHO, is the 3-gun RGB projectors like a Sony VPH1270, 1292 or G90.
