That statement is 100% correct - it's like bell bottoms, disco and the like. I don't hate rap -but I don't (like) to hear it along with quite a bit of other current music. I am careful with my comments as it's their generation and they (kids) have the right to their own opinions.
I can still bring out the vinyl and annoy them occasionaly too
