"Rap crap" says it all(almost)
I'm with Mike on this. Some of the early stuff actually was fun to listen to, once I got over the initial "what the hell is
that noise?!" Beastie boys kinda caught my ear early on. And this is coming from an old fart like me!
Most of the stuff from the 70's (my teen years) annoys me about as much as todays current rap-crap does. So I suppose annoying music is always going to be with us.
Whatever your taste is, you still should admit the "message" of rap is not needed though.
