I like the old school stuff that was all about dancin',challenging each other in competition, wheterh in rapping/or dj's etc....think RDMC. Some if it was pretty humorous.

Anyone remember Sugar hill Gang. Not violent, just funny.

I really started to dislike all the women bashing, drive by crap that came around after that.

Some of 2pacs lyrics are really good if you take the time. Wax not in favor of his vilent crap either. But he did a credible job when "rapping" about the trials and tribulations of African Americans.
