I'm in the some rap is good, some rap is crap spot. I listen to it on occassion, and *gasp* enjoy it. I can appreciate it for what it is worth. What most of the old guys on this board consider rap is the commercialized pop rap, which appeals to the thug life. I hope I am never old enough to generalize a genre of music bases on a few songs I hear on TV. Open your ears folks, I can direct you towards some good rap, that was made in the last 5 years.
