i first realy got into rap with Ezey E
a was about 13 and thought i was funny.

rap is just poetry set to music. now i don't listen to it much any more but think of this.......johney cash coverd
a song that Trent Rezner "Nine Inch Nails" wrote called Hurt and got grate aclaim but if most of you listend to any of Nine Inch Nails songs you probley think they were crap

i have the vid.s from both cash and Nine Inch Nails , and i played them for my dad he's 60 ......... i played the cash vid first then i played NIN and low and behold he liked both now my dad is not realy in to rock and roll he never got into ZEP or floyd or ccr ect he likes stuff from the 50's and modern jazz "which I think is crap"
the point is listen to the lirics they
may say something to you
