Gads! Even if you do have to dump another $1000 into it, you'll have a good car for the money. But make sure it's not a rust bucket, or it's not worth anything more than you pay for it. Check the rear quarter panels, around the wheel wells, trunk floor, suspension mount areas, ect. If it's rotted out, but runs and goes ok, consider it a good work car, but not worth putting anything else into it.
