Especially if you can get a lifetime warranty compressor from autozone, Id say its an OK deal. Definitely check with Phil here at fastlane and Rusty over at mbz parts, as well as dave over at eurasian (
www.eap4parts.com - he usually has the best prices). A lot of times these guys can get you the real deal for a very good price, better than autozone.
But autozone is now offering some good deals with their lifetime starters and alternators, so I have to wonder ifd they have the warrantee on the compressors. If so, it may be a good deal if youre planning on driving the car for another 100+ thousand.
Water pumps should only be bought at the dealer. Lots of other posts where someone bought a napa, etc pump and it was of far inferior quality.
