1) My cording is completely dryrotten with no elasticity left, the toggles will not do it. By good suggestion.

2) Thanks for the size of the shock cord, that helps!

Looks like I do have to remove the seat back, and this looks like a bear in the W124 -- is it? Or is it more complicated than it looks?
