well the car i bought on ebay for £280 is proving to be a little more troublesome than i had hoped.

it came with a rich running problem that soon coked up the plugs and stuttered the engine to a halt, as well as leaving solid black exhaust marks all over my drive.

i took the car to a mechanic, which is a story in itself, and he tuned it, and for a month the engine has run perfectly. but suddenly, in one day it started running rich all over again.

i'm taking it back to the mechanic, but i thought i'd ask here to see if anyone had any thoughts on what is happening here.
