You need to loosen the big nut that is around the d'shaft near the bearing support (I don't remember if it is in front of or behind the support). Remove all the fasteners from the front flex disc next (sounds like you already have the back flex disc fasteners out). The shaft should then slide "together" where you loosened the big nut enough to shorten it a little and get the clearance to take it out. Don't forget to remove the bearing support fasteners too.
