Alon,
It seems like every automated "Brushless" car wash in my area has changed their format to 10 guys washing the car in rainsuits on an automated line. The cost for the wash alone is $13. With the liquid wax stuff $16 and if you want the works (includes armour all tires, clearcoat protectant, rain X windshield, etc) it's $19. I have used them a few times this winter (too damn cold in NJ to wash myself) and they have done an outstanding job. Once the car comes off the line, they park it in the lot and towel off using newly washed towels and clean the interior (they have about 10 washing machines and dryers and once they've used a towel it goes directly into the washing machine). They spend about 15 minutes just drying and cleaning the interior (the owner sits outside and watches all the guys do their work). I once complained about the car's wheels not coming out clean and the owner told the guys to rewash the entire car and he gave me a coupon for a free wash forthe next time I go! Not a bad deal in my mind. I still do all the waxing myself and I think if you just do it for the winter, you can't beat the $55 deal. Just make sure their towels are clean.
