The only "good" way to fix this up is to get the adapter. It should have came with the EL mast, so look around to see if the PO left it in the car. Otherwise it should be able to be ordered seperately I believe. Maybe Phil at PartsShop can find it for you, or a dealer should. It will come with the instructions on what goes where, that should be the easiest way, otherwise I can try digging for info. Once this is adapted, the middle position of the switch won't work as original, I'm not sure exactly what the middle posion of the switch does after installing the EL, it should be either OFF or MAX, not sure which.
