Don't sweat it really. Check it on a level surface, wipe the dipstick and then put it back in to get the correct reading.

I've seen so many Hondas and Toyotas that were straight up abused by their owner that kept going. No matter what they did to them. At least you care about it! LOL

Check every few days at first to track how much oil (if any) that you are loosing.
