No boots are not available. Cracking is quite common with these boots. If it bothers you, use some Hi-Temp black RTV around the cracks. It has worked for me, some others on this list don't like the idea.

You can't use a split boot design on these CV joints. The joints contain a thick oil, not a grease. How would you seal up the boot well enough to contain the oil?

You might find a better response to this thread on the diesel discussion section. In fact BoostnBenz has a good web site for rebooting without the expensive tool. Do both sides at the same time.
