1998 W210 Air Conditioner

Hello, My car has been sitting for 11 months, I have started it maybe 3 times a month, but never cut the AC on.. I just fired up the AC and the compressor comes on, but no cold air and the aux. fans do not come on...???? I hear a hissing sound from the center vents... What gives.. Could a hose haecome loose behind the dash?
