Whats the right diesel for you?

I see posts around here, and some people say that they don't get enough HP out of their MB diesels. Maybe, they chose the wrong model. So, I have decided with some of my MB knowledge to start a post entitled, "Whats the right diesel for you?"
Ok, lets start off.
I think we need to look at the years 1949 to 1999, U.S. models only. The simplest MB diesels were manufactured until like 85 I guess, maybe 89? I have the chassis numbers, and HP on models that I know of.

We'll start off with the OM 636 engines
(W136) 1949-1955 170D/170SD 43HP
(W120)1953-59 180D
(W120)1959-61 180Db

OM 621 engines
(W121)1959-61 190Db
(W120)1961-62 180Dc
(W110)1962-65 190Dc 60HP
(W110)1966-67 200D 60HP

Now, here we go with the OM 615 engine
(W114/5)1968-73 220D 60HP

The OM 616
(W114/5, W123)1973-85 240D 67HP

OM 617
(W114/5, W123)1975-85 300D (DT too) 123HP
(W116,W126)1978-85 300SD 123HP

OM 601
(W201)1984-86 190D 72HP

OM 602
(W201)1987-89 190D 93HP, 123HP Turbo models
(W124)1990-93 300D 121 HP

OM 603
(W126)1986-87 300SDL 148HP
(W124)1987 300DT
(W124)1987 300TDT
(W126)1990-91 350SD, 350SDL 134HP
(W140)1992-93 300SD 148HP
(W140)1994-95 S350D 148HP

OM 606
(W124,W210)1995-99? E300D 134HP, 174 Turbo models

I hope you all enjoy this little bit of informative and/or entertaining reading. If you find anything wrong with this list, let me know.
