Hi Russell,

All you have to use are these 2 wires:

2 x brown together (into the same pin on the plug) (ground wires?) - yes, these two are the ground wires - they are grouped together because one is for the mirror itself, one is for the homelink.

2 x blue/white together (into the same pin on the plug) - these two are the power wires - splice them into a ignition switched +12V (i.e. has +12V when the ignition switch is in the first position). I spliced them into the sunroof power wire (which has +12V only when the ignition is in the first position - sorry, I forgot the color of that wire). Again, there are two blue/white wires because one is for the mirror, and one is for the homelink.
