My 1986 560sl alarm goes off for no apparent reason. This is such a problem that I have to leave my car unlocked for fear of the embarrassment of the alarm going off and creating a disturbance and as you sl owners know, you don't get much sympathy . I have taken the car to 3 local shops and nobody knows how to disable the system. Does anybody know how to fix or take the alarm out? Thanks, I would like to be able to lock my car.
