You better be sure which lights. Either SRS or ABS are safety systems and for a dealer to present a car for sale with these faults you can throw away what I said. It is a criminal matter!

I'm relatively sure a car can not be solf by a dealer in the state of Florida with known SRS or ABS problems. Could be wrong, but a dealer starts off with the ethics against him, no real dealer would sell a car with those systems in known default.

Had a dealer with a 124 car that had both lights put out with a 3/32nds drill through the facia through the icon and through the two bulbs. No lights, no knowledge ...right... WRONG! He sure didn't like it when I pointed it out to him. The only reason I noticed was that after I found the OVP to be the reason for his hard cold starting I wondered why his ABS light hadn't been on, so I looked. The ABS probably was fixed at the same time but now wouldn't work as the bulb was in failure and any failure shuts down the system.
