Okay. I will try unhooking the switch to see if it works. My linkage is lubed and adjusted.

I noticed that the plastic housing for my kickdown solenoid is cracked all the way around and barely wet from trans fluid. Do you think I may need to replace the solenoid? Or is that just cosmetic?
