I have a slk 230 I recently heard a squeeky wheel. when I apply the brakes the sound goes away. The brake light isn't on. do these cars have ware bars to warn for worn shoes? I thought they were electric sensors.... How long can I drive like this.. as I will prob have to save for a brake job.......... the brakes seem to work well. for now.
