Please follow the advice regarding floor jacks and jack stands-

This is rather horrible, but at a wrecking yard that I frequent, a service person was killed recently by relying on a floor jack to "quickly check under" a mobile lift. The jack was rated to lift the unit but the floor jack had a sudden seal burst. No one knows why.

According to the workers there, everyone frantically tried to raise the unit but it was too late.

Only use a floor jack to lift- don't rely on them.
