any codes in the DM??

If you look at Menu#1 at the block diagram, you'll see a connection from the EA (N4/1) to the CTP switch, S29/3 (called the Pedal Force Recognition Switch) and that maybe bad or making a bad/intermittant connection? Probably 'fried' due to engine heat.
